As a break from the routine of farming and cotton gin operation, Uncle Hassell enjoyed the occasional business trips to Lake Providence or Tallulah. While there, he would always make time to stand on the levee above the Mississippi River and watch the big barges churning upriver with manufactured goods and supplies and coasting back down with agricultural commodities.

This piece of synthesizer-generated loops was meant to evoke the slow passage diesel-engine tugs on the big water.
